Feels like coming full circle. The quintessential cyberpunk text, Blade Runner, which immensly influenced Japanese comics and animation, getting a spin off anime. Be nice to see how this pans out.

Deckard is a high school student and all of his classmates are large breasted replicants. He gets a nose bleed and runs out of the room screaming every time one of them talks to him. Roy is the principal of a rival school that just happens to have 15 tentacle penises. /joking

I'm planning on skipping the new film but will definitely check out the anime.

I just watched the segment that was released to CrunchyRoll, and it was really good. I have really high hopes for the full blu-ray and for 2049.

It definitely shows its pedigreee in the action scenes, and seeing the director working in a tone and pace that perfectly captures the feel of Blade Runner was stunning. I can't wait to get my hands on the Blu to see the whole story.
