    Donnie Yen...Donnie Yen...DONNIE YEN!!!

Anyway...it's a R3 HK DVD buy for me, when I get around to this as there's no decent BD* available, and the HK one is Region A locked.

    * research (and a few emails to Metrodome in the UK) proved the British BD a bit of a cock-up (hard-coded subs, wrong soundtrack etc etc).

No worries, Clive! Metrodome have a few decent Chinese films on Blu, but I haven't taken the plunge on any of them because I can't find consistent reviews across the 'net on any of them! I am sure half the people on the internerd reviewing BDs are armchair experts who don't know their arse from their elbow! I resorted to emailing Metrodome direct about this one, as I came a cropper on the UK Icon disc of Donnie's 14 Blades (great looking and sounding BD, but the hard-coded subs are so small that I'm guessing anyone who has a set under 106cm is going to have a bastard of a time reading them).

Metrodome fluffed me with nonsense about the Bluray...I was given "original theatrical" audio as my answer to whether the film was coming out in Cantonese (HK version) or Mandarin (dubbed for Mainland market), and "burnt-in" (which only applies to theatrical prints) as to the subtitles. So, I figured with such half-arsed answers they weren't worth my money and I'll just get the HK DVD when I have the spare clams... ;)
